About Matthew Plotkin

A portfolio manager focused on real estate investments in the New York metropolitan area, Matthew Plotkin laid the foundation for his career by earning a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in information technology from Hofstra University. As an active student, Matthew Plotkin made the dean's list every year of his time in college.

In 2012, Matthew Plotkin joined his father’s real estate investment services firm, based in Englewood, New Jersey. Today, he serves as portfolio manager, overseeing real estate investments in New York City and Northern New Jersey. His responsibilities include orchestrating renovations and remodels, which includes selecting appliances, cabinets, paint, trim, and other design elements for building interiors.

In 2019, Mr. Plotkin spent seven months working with SFR Hardscapes, gaining experience that he utilizes in his day-to-day operations. For instance, he constructed decorative and retaining walls that spanned a yard, pool, and driveway at a property in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and a stone facade for a new development in Park Ridge. As a result of this work and additional experience, he prides himself on offering his clients a dynamic range of services to help them reach their investment goals.
